Weekly Enrollment Schedule:

Option 1: One full 8-hour day (Monday,Wednesday or Saturdays) 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Option 2: Two 4-hour sessions on non-consecutive days within the same week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM/ 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Online Study: Complete the majority of your coursework online at your own pace.
In-Person Labs: 8 hours of in-person lab practice. Choose to complete the labs in one 8-hour day or split into two 4-hour sessions on non-consecutive days within the same week.

No immunizations or vaccinations required
Uniforms: Uniforms not required, but scrubs are preferred. Closed-toed shoes are required.

National Exam Fee: $125 (separate fee, eligible to take the exam in two weeks at our campus)
Deposit $100 deposit is applied towards your chosen program or service.
Refund Policy: The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation by 3:30 PM, 3 business days before your scheduled start date. Please call 214-865-7089 to cancel.
Flexibility: The deposit is valid for any program or service within one year of payment.

Metro Health Institute Student Career Assistance Services

Career Assessment: During enrollment and post-graduation, career assessment and guidance are provided by the Career Guidance Office, Metro Health Institute staff, and school instructors.
Resume Assistance & Review: Students and graduates are assisted in the design of a new or revised resume by the Metro Health Institute staff.
Interview Assistance: Integral to our classes are mock interviews, helpful tips, and commonly asked questions geared toward preparing our students for one-on-one and group interviews.

Career Assistance Services

Metro Health Institute is dedicated to helping students find jobs and will assist in the student's job search effort. While we do not guarantee employment, we offer comprehensive career services that include, but are not limited to, resume development, interviewing skills, job searches, and leads on job openings.
Our school develops contacts with employers and often receives requests from employers seeking graduates. We maintain a constantly updated contact file of potential employers. Additionally, employers are invited to Metro Health Institute for job interview sessions.
We are very proud of the success of our graduates. However, we do not guarantee employment. Students are informed that they may need to relocate upon graduation to increase their employment opportunities. Whenever possible, our instructors and staff assist students experiencing educational, financial, or personal difficulties. Students needing additional help or counseling will be directed to outside professionals for assistance.
